Dear Carl, I believe you should replace the cam gear in the original tractor. If you begin with the idea of taking the front bolster radiator, and front cover off, and find the gear broken, all takes is new, or used higher strength gears (pretty easy fix) Then you will have a tractor to sell and be in business again. If the original M has good gears, and something else is wrong, then you are 1/2 of the way to putting the correct front cover on the new M. Best of luck, and keep us informed. JimN
