It really depends what classes you want to pull in. My tractor is stock and I pull Div 1 or Div II in Nebraska.
Div 1- pull what you got and see how you like it
Div II- 20% over on motor- take your H block and bore it to fit 300 sleeves and stepped head or dome top pistons. Port and Polish the head, valve job and deck the head. Turn up the governor to 110% and lift your drawbarup
