Quit cussing the battery as your srarter is probably junk. I know of a 135engine with head machined 125 off hi -dome pistons running 150lbs compression and starts it with lawnmower battery. WALL mart batts aren junk as the other post says only few batt makers. Tons of people have a weak part in their starting system and jump on a 12v system and then find out later there were weak links somewhere or it would have started on 6v just stop and think when these tractors were new we used them year around and they did well on the 6v system.
