If you have a Farmall 300, why not order an IH 300 operator's manual. Let me assure you, the braking system is covered, but is also a small portion of items you should know and service regularly.
If you were an old hand Farmall user, you could rebuild Farmall 300 brakes blindfolded. That alone tells me, you need a manual. Just go to top left hand corner of this page and click on tractor manuals. Sure you may find someone with brake diagram scanned, but have you lubricated the distributor as per manual, Have you adjusted clutch and TA as per manual. I can think of a dozen other things. It's far easier for the folks on YT that help other folks, to help those who try to help themselves. Any tractor is just not complete without an operator's manual.
