I would check those contacts on the starter, somtimes they wear out and or dirty as well. And make sure that your using nice clean connections on all the posts. One think to add to is the starter bound up?? this maybe your prob, just lossen the starter up and see if its locked up, they get stuck sometimes, and the bendix does not rotate back in.
