Left my F-20 head at the local machine shop for a valve job and they mag fluxed it and found 2 cracks on the block side and 1 on the valve train side. Now the 2 on the block side are small and not near the combustion changer so I am sure they will be OK. I have seen several comments on here that cracks are common in the water jacket areas of the heads and don't really pose any issues. The one on the valve train side is approx. 2 inches long and it's hard to tell how deep it is. I planned on cutting a groove and brazing it closed. I am a former welder and see no issues with a repair by brazing. Anyone had any experience with these small hairline cracks in the F heads?
