The heads should interchange. Some time back there was discussion about putting a head from a 300 on an H to raise the compression. You can probaby tell just be comparing your two heads. Use your old head gasket to look for differences.
If you have high compression pistons, you will want see that the pistons do not touch the valves. If you check it without the head gasket and they clear, you should be good.
