Hi Mark, I kept a file of problems & solutions of the 84 series tractors from replies from Bernard le mécano. Reason, my brother has 4 of these tractors and someday he is going to have some of these problems. BE CAREFULL when troubleshooting high pressure hydraulic problems.

Hi, may be the unload valve is stuck. Check with engine running, raise the hitch and pull the remote lever at same time . If the hitch raises, you have dirt in the unload valve. This valve is under the seat. You remove the large plug for access. One trick, loosen the large plug, unload valve, 2 turns and start the engine, the hitch should raise if the valve is stuck. It will have a small hole in the valve and just blow the dirt out with compressed air. Replace the O rings. Bernard le mécano Québec Canada
