The head on my BN had been so full of water for so long that the seats were beyond salvation, and he had to machine it to take inserts. (The head on the BN did not have inserts, the seats were machined right into the head, and I think that's the case, too, with your SC head.) Just brace yourself for that, if it comes up.
I agree, too, that it's a good idea to let the shop that turns the crank supply the bearings. The shop I took mine to said they like it better that way, as well.
