Loosen the oil pressure connector at the engine. If you start it briefly and oil comes out of the fitting from pressure, then AndrewZ may be perfectly correct. If none comes out within about 15 seconds, I would probably pull the oil pan and check the pump and drive gear. There are many posts on oil pump repair in the "search for" archives above. If it does send oil out the fitting when it is loose, retighten it and use a hair dryer on the tube to the gauge. Loosen the fitting at the gauge and run the engine when it is it is warm, the moisture will be pushed out. Re tighten and see if it makes pressure. If not, try a good known gauge at the block fitting to assure your pressure. JimN
