If you`re talking IPTO, then it`s SMTA in `54. I think the first U.S. built tractors that offered 3 pt. would be the 240U,340U, 460U,240 and 340 Farmalls. On these tractors IH introduced the 3 pt. fast hitch as an option.It wasn`t much more than a fast hitch to 3 pt. conversion. The first U.S. built tractor offered solely with 3 pt. would have probably been the International/Farmall 404 in 1961.This had top link draft control whereas the 40 and 60 series did not. I dont know when the British built B250/B275 came out, had to be around same time as the 404 I`m thinking. On a side note, I`m with those who are sticking up for the fast hitch.There isn`t a handier hitching system around for ease of hitching and unhitching(assuming you`re on level ground ) Mark
