A "H" is a fine tractor and "Ms" do get down under 5000 lbs in stock class . I have seen Hs in 5000 and they don"t fare well.
As for the term "stock" well i run a dyno service for vintage tractors and see big #s all the time on so called stock tractors.
I pull a Super M in stock that has the 450 -281 cub kit in it which is stock for these blocks. I also use the 450 gas head that is [stock ] to these motors , with a lot of work done to it. In facory stock trim it makes 44 hp , mine in factory worked on stock parts makes 72 hp at 1710 rpm. Don"t kid your self there isn"t any "true stock" tractors that pull that do well . I still use the orignal 52 Super M cam but i"m probaly going to change that to the 450 as well .
I come accross this all the time "O" it"s stock the dyno doesn"t lie , i went as far as to have it calibrated and certified threw the U.S goverments dept of weights and measures ! All dynos read a little differnt and i never call some one a lier , but i know after all my work that mine reads correct .
Have fun with the H email or call Waynes repair they did my current head "wow" . Also setting the timing is very impotant, we have gotten 10 hp on the dyno by finding the correct timing .
