I have an M with an M&W 9 speed in it but I cannot shift it to high. The lever moves but no resistance is felt in doing so like there is a keyway out of place, or setscrew loose inside or just a plain old broken shift fork. Is there somethign common that goes wrong with them?
Do you guys know to get at the shift fork to have a look do I need to split the tractor to do this or can I just take off the belt pulley gearbox and get at it from the top or remove the transmission cover to get to it.
I have been putting this off cause I need to make splitting stands but I will get it done quicker if I don't have to split it. The tractor works fine but I would like the extra gears for some chores.
