You didn't mention what vintage of B275. The early ones have a CAV inline pump and an air-governor that works from an air-shutter valve in the intake.
The later B275s have CAV rotary pumps and the governor is all inside the pump.
I mention that because the older B275s can get stuck air shutters and act like they're running out of fuel. It happened twice to mine from mud-wasps plugging it up.
On both my B275s, they've died slowly, and would then restart after sitting. That was caused by diesel bacteria plugging up the fuel screen in the tank. Very easy to fix once you know what it is.
