I've tried opening the main and idle jet the way you suggested, but the fuel just pours out. I've checked my sparkplugs and they are 386, but the tractor ran just fine on them before I started working on the tractor, so I don't think they are the problem. Oh, I almost forgot, yes it's a Farmall C I'm working on. I don't know about the wires that go to them though, they're the original ones I assume..
