Tim, Do not worry about the gear, I put a pump on my 41 H more than 30 years ago. After many thousands of hours and a wide variety of jobs it is still going. The belly pump reservoir works fine unless you ever want to use hyd. motors. I found out how handy they are to power elevators, augers, bale conveyors, raise silo unloaders etc. so I used the transmission and rear end for the reservoir. It's nice to have an H to do those jobs. If you may be interested in how to do it let me know. Good luck, Chuck
