There is a good possibility it could be your water pump. Have you tried greasing it? Sometimes we have slowed up those types of leaks just by greasing until we had time to fix. The biggest problem is if the adjusting sheave for the fan belt, you don't want to beat on it because if you break it you will be surprised at what they can get out of them. Find an IT manual or some such and it is not a bad job. good luck
