Look at the front bolster casting if its a true stage II it will have cast holes in them, like the SMTA, 300, 400 etc... other areas to look at are if the bell housing has a cast indent on the left side. that would have been a place for the hydro line to rest. there shold be no signs of a belly pump, no holes for the out lets for the pump if its a stage II
