It's unable to have an independent PTO. The later Farmall's with IPTO had substantially different transmission and clutch setup. The only way to upgrade is to buy a whole 'nother machine!
On the other hand, it's quite practical to upgrade to live hydraulics. The pump goes between the distributor and the engine front cover. Your's would not have come new with it. Do a search of the forum for converting to live hydraulics and you should find something. Basically, you'll need the pump from a Super M, 400 or 450, a spool valve or valves and a resevoir tank, though I think some have used the old Lift-All resevoir
Also it's quite easy to configure the Lift-All system you already have to operate two way cylinders. A search on that too will get you a lot of info. I've done that and it works well, only it's not a live system, clutch must be out to run the Lift-All pump.
