I have to get a new front end on my H. Right now it's up on jack stands.
I have a guy in my tractor club who has an old narrow front ped with two hubs, but only one rim. The side with the rim is seized, and the whole think is a bit rusty and rough. $20 for it. So, I'll need bearings, a rim, tires and tubes.
There is a complete ped at the junkyard for $100. I don't remember the condition of the tires. But it's also yellow, and I don't know when I could get some paint on it. It's a 45 minute drive, so I want to go for something other than just looking.
Anyway, I figure for the broke ped I'll be spending $30 for a rim. Tires, $20 a piece if I can find some. (Allan in NE mentioned he'd give me his off him new M, but shipping could be just as expensive) and I have no idea what bearings will cost me. But it all potentially could come out to less than $100. And every dime counts.

How can I explain the sensation and exhilaration I feel when I turn the key and hear the engine come to life (most
