Lewis: One other item, in my 65 years, I've never seen one of these blocks bored for any reason. Boring costs enough that most folks go out and buy another block. As far as boring for more power, I can't see it. If you gathered together 5 of each C-113, C-123 equiped tractors for a working drawbar pull, I guarentee you not all the C-123 will be in the top 5. I have had other boring done, and those folks charge big bucks.
Until I can be convinced otherwise, I can only assume folks that bore C-113 or C-123 engines, like to waste money. I can see boring big engines, but not these little engines. I've seen these guys promoting boring imported 4 cylinder car engines. Those little engines are being crushed everyday. This boring promotion here on YT, must be a group of retired machinists with nothing better to do.
