Can be series of things. I'm going through the same thing right now. Has the tractor been running hot? If you have a cooling system pressure tester. Put about 18-20 psi to the cooling system, and pull the oil pan. Look for water dripping from the cam shaft side of the engine. If you see water drips it's head gasket. If you see water drips from the bottom of the sleeve, its a sleeve problem. Hope this helps.
