I have seen this on a number of heads. The springs put side pressure on the rockers and they eventually wear into the sides of the supports. I face off the damaged areas and use shims to put everything back to center. I made a jig for refacing the arms but you can take them to any automotive machine shop and they can reface them. I believe the surfaces are only case hardened and will not be hard after removing the material needed but who cares unless this tractor is going into full time farming.
