Could be -- but I have a 460 Hi Utility, maybe 1/2 or 1% of the production numbers of the SMTA (SMTA is more valuable). I too am attempting to put it back in original condition, but the old serial tag stays. I have a stage 2 Super H and a C that I refurbished (I won't use the term restored) with new tags, and have second thoughts about doing that. The C tag is a replacement of a replacement though. I still have both old tags -- The SH might have some value some day, the C won't. Every one has different opinions and not every one is 100% correct on much of anything.
