I'll do my best to answer your question. IMO the only source for correct tags is Robert Deiner (mentioned by someone else below). His are the only ones that are "relief etched". In other words, the black part is recessed below the silver part. This is the way the originals are. The other ones are a flat piece of aluminum with the black painted on. There is no texture. His are not cheap, but they cost a lot more to produce that way. I have seen a few of his samples for the F-series and they are a perfect match to the originals. He has done a lot of research to get all the minute details right and to offer all the different variations.
With all that being said, I prefer to keep the original tags if possible. But If I had to replace one, his are the only ones I would use.
