I bought a 600 and it would start on gas and before I unloaded it I had it starting on gas. If you pull start these old diesels you need to get the engine turning over pretty fast to get them to start on diesel. I bought a W450 when the guy couldn't get it to start on gas and then could get it to start on diesel pulling it. I didn't pull it three hundered feet and had it running and drove it home. Put in new plugs and points and plug wires and it and runs great. Used the W450 today on the grinder.
