had the mcv cover rebuilt at the local dealer and was going to reistall it when i noticed that where the plastic poppet goes that the hole looks like it has a steel plug in about 1/8 of an inch below the surface, i also remember that when i took it off i dont really recall the old one falling out like they always do, i would either hsve to try snd get plug out and figure out why it was plugged up in the first place or not put poppet in do you need the poppet and spring in what is ther purpose? even had the local ih guy stop in from the dealer and said that the plug should not be there so, what does a person do? we only do our own few tractors so i have never seen that before thanks for any help
