Glad it is going!! There is a choke cable affair that runs to the mechanism you discussed. The choke cable operates the mag ground. If it is not a show queen to be, go with a replacement choke cable, and make up the clips needed to keep it as straight as possible, and tidy. Original cables might be hard to find, but I have not looked. Another way to do it is to use a wire from the terminal and a grounding switch at the operator's platform area to shut it off. JimN
