Oh ya, we did it to ourselves, now undoing it gonna take time and money, our money. Change will only happen from within. We need to start holding those junk makers responsible, even if its only for $5.99. If all these american retailers insist on buying junk just to add to shareholder profits, then pass their inferior stuff off on us "rich" americans who dont care if it only lasts 1/10 of a reasonable lifespan cause, you know, we have so much money, we'll just go buy another one and keep the cycle going, not me.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!
Just the other day, my girlfriend bought a battery operated pencil sharpener home that stopped working, I replaced the batteries and it still didnt work. It was only 2 months old and made in Taiwan, with Staples printed on the side. I said take it back and buy nothing more. Make them pay for buying inferior junk to begin with and I'll give you a usa made case pocket knife to sharper your pencil. Or go buy an old american made pencil sharpener from a flea market or ebay. DONE!
no more jap, china or otherwise for me, german...maybe. scott#2
