Two likely issues: If the fuel runs out of the carb when just sitting there (not cranking) it is probably a tiny thread or piece of dirt holding the needle open a tiny bit. Clean it out one mor time. The float can be touching the side of the bowl, or hanging down so far that it gets stuck on the bottom. (there is a float drop specification) A repair manual is for sure needed. If it leaks a few drops after choking to start it, it is pretty normal. The suction of the intake pulls raw gasoline out of the main jets and into the intake area/throat. Because it is an updraft carb, the fuel leaks down and out after an unsuccessful start attempt. Tell us more about what is going on. JimN
