Mike I think the confusion with Rusty is in the names you're using for the rims. Different people use different terms to describe the rims. Right or wrong I use the term double bevel for the rims used on the 8 spoke wheel that started after the early 300 and 400 farmalls and used on a lot of tractors. The drop center rim that slopes from center drop to near rim edge I call non step. The one that has a step near center and another step down to near edge, I call the step type, some call them double or triple drop.
