That could be the original since it's a standard size bearing meaning the journal was never ground undersize. When I did an A the journals looked like bronze or copper, but the shaft only needed to be polished and I had to use .002" undersize bearings. I bought them from the auto machine shop. The shaft looked very good for all the sludge I found in the pan and over the pickup screen on the oil pump. I would have that block cleaned if any of that bearing metal went through the engine. Hal
