Your Super A looks great! They look like nice little tractors. To check the oil, look on the right-side of the engine oil pan, there should be 2 petcocks on there. Open the lower petcock and see if any oil comes out. The way to know if it is correct oil level is there should be oil coming from the lower petcock, but not the top one. (keep the level between the 2 petcocks). The air cleaner with the glass jar is called a "pre-cleaner". They were used on tractors that were operated in extremely dirty or dusty conditions. Donaldson, M&W and others made optional pre-cleaners. The jar catchs more dirt.
