Not trying to be belligerent, myself, but I think this is an unfair comment. Just because someone wants to stop and think twice about the Chinese, does not make them an anti-war commie.
My personal believe is that the Chinese have serious problems. Their population is growing faster than their ability to create good jobs. Sooner or later, they will become fully capitalistic, since that is the only way for them to get the number of jobs they need. Once that happens, war is bad for business.
I'm not looking through rose-colored glasses, either. Their missile programs (Dongfeng 31 and Long March) are serious threats to this country. Their support of North Korea is dangerous--on the other hand, they also keep Kim Jong Il pretty much in-line. All they have to do is turn off the oil taps, and Pyong-Yang says "Yes, master, yes!" They have shown enormous patience with the Taiwan matter, though they rattle the sabers every so often.
Regardless, the point is that this is a nice site. Please, let us not resort to name-calling and hostility.
