340s have a light feel to the clutch. From the picture I know it is on concrete. With the engine off----- Block down the clutch pedal (or clamp it down) and put it in high gear. Now roll the tractor forward and back. if there is little resistence, it is probably OK. Now have some one start letting out the clutch while pushing it forward and back (engine off) If there is a point at which the tractor stops moving as the clutch is engaged, I think it is OK. Aim it out of the garage by pushing it. remove the wire going to the coil from the key. Put it in first with the clutch down and crank the engine. if it cranks you are good to go. Put it together and try it. Be sure to keep your hand on the key to stop it if it keeps moving. Good luck, JimN
