Thanks. You are right. They do hold oil. At least there was a bunch tried to come out when I loosend the bolts. One more question if I may. Does the TA pump oil up from this same area and run in oil? I have a mechanic who is top notch in All kinds of equipment that is going to help me (I am about a 5 or 6 on a scale of 10) He is about a 10 on tramissions for trucks and cars, disel engines,and motors, etc. But he has not done a TA seal replacement yet.I'm trying to find out all I can and get all the info to tell him before we tear her apart. I need to know all the "Make Sures" if possible. I don't know if the TA will have to be pulled if it just has the Retaining nut loose and the oil is actually coming from the pto shaft seal. Like I say, the I&T is sure lacking on some of this seal replacement stuff. Thanks Again Jerry
