You can remove both, but its going to involve a lot of work. You need to drain the cooling system, remove the complete front end assy, fan assy, and the water pump on the Super C. You really need a good shop manual. You probably need to remove the grille and radiator. Once all this has been removed you need to remove the timing gear cover. I would rotate the gears until the timing marks are aligned with the woodruff key to your left. Remove the rocker arms and push the cam follows (lifters) up enough to clear the cam lobes then remove camshaft and have the old gear pressed off and the new gear pressed on. Use a suitable puller to pull the crankshaft gear. Don't move the engine after these are removed. You may need to make or have one made like Bigdog made for his Cub using a bottle jack or hydraulic ram. You need a bearing separator too so you don't break the gear. I would take pictures and make a lot of notes. Hal PS: Pic of puller.
