There is also a metal shroud that fir over the entire manifold to hold the heat in, this made the kerosene burn more efficiently. I have two H's, one set up for dual fuel (The original kerosene is no longer available)..after repairing the dual fuel manifold on one, I opted for a new gas manifold for the other..no comparison, new manifold works much better, distributes better and has a better flow making twice the tractor the other one is, Iknow you want to restore as original but the original fuel isn't made anymore
