I have a question about the hydraulics on Farmall A, Super A, 130, and 140 tractors. My Dad has a 1940 Farmall A (which he's had longer than he's had me!). It's a hand start and no hydraulics. Which one of this series was the first to have hydraulics? Are the hydraulics an integral part of the tractor or can it be added on? Does anyone know of any good books that would cover the Farmall A, Super A, 130, and 140 series tractors in detail? Thanks.
