Don't forget about the Farmall 100. It replaced the Super A as a 1954 model and was replaced by the 130 as a 1957 model. I have a '56 model. The Farmall 100 and 130 were virtually identical; I think the only real changes were the 130 badge replacing the 100 badge, a little more power out of the engine, the grille of the 130 was painted white while the 100's grille was red(the grilles were otherwise identical), and the inset on the sides of the hood where the "FARMALL" logo is attached were painted white(the 100's insets were red, just like the rest of the machine). E-mail me if you'd like a picture of a 100. As for a book, pick up a copy of Guy Fay's "International Harvester Tractor Data Book". Cover price is $10.95, and you can order it through any good bookstore. Some farm stores carry it, and you can get it from Amazon.com. It covers the A, SA, 100, and 130. It doesn't cover the 140(or any 1958-1985 models). It's a great little book, and is well worth $10.95.

We thought we could get by with this since the engine ran perfectly and would not need any internal work. After the cleanup and painting was done, we began reassembly and finally came to t
