I'd give the slightest edge to the Charlynn because it looks less obtrusive, since it is tucked out of the way under the hood. Both units are excellent performers. The Behlen is less likely to be in your way when the time comes you need to work around the front of your engine. I have a Behlen which came on my SM and I can't complain. mike
