jed: Toy eh, We used to have dead weight tractor pulls, flat bottom stone boat. The winner was the tractor pulling the highest percentage of it's own weight. Most tractors run between 2.5 and 3 times their own weight. In our town the 3 hard tractors to beat were Super A, H and Cockshutt 30. We've seen some guys show up with Super Ms 6 cylinder Cockshutts and Olivers loaded to the limit with weight, only to leave quite rejected. to see the SA place 1st, 2nd or 3rd with the H and 30 filling the other places. Even when they didn't add the weight, results were no different.
