At one time a large percentage of Ms in cotton belt were on LP. Most that I knew of were converted by LP dealers or LP dealer sold parts for do it yourself conversion. About 6 or 8 years ago I counted 25 LP Ms and Super Ms on one catfish farm near Belzoni, MS. The tractors were being used to power portable pond aerrators. Couple of years ago I was back by farm and all but 2 or 3 of the LP tractors had been replaced by small late model diesels and equipment yard was full of cannabilized M carcasses.
