I would change the condenser. Never pull the head when an engine quits, you need to use the process of elemination until you find the problem. It could be stuck in 2 gears that's been mentioned. Did you have fire when it quit. You may have a weak coil. Pull a plug wire ASAP when it quits and check for fire to the plugs. If you have good fire you can rule out the coil. I don't think they even lap valves anymore at most auto machine shops. Hal
