Hey guys, I have a video of the lil squirt running now. Just figured out how to do it today so I hope you like it. I got allot of feedback in the sound for some strange reason so dont mistake it for a choppy exhaust or funky timing.
The problem was the coil. It tested perfect and was brand new but something failed. Good thing about it all is that I went ahead and installed a new set of points and condenser plus rotor and cap.
I still cant figure out how the dang coil shorted out. I'm doing surgery and taking a cutoff wheel tomorrow to it and have a look inside so I'll post some pics tomorrow of that. Maybe something interesting went on inside there that we could all see?
