From what i have seen over the years that the M&W flat tops may not give the total Hp. as a step head but when ya got down to the nitty gritty of bottom end torque the flt tops would lug far better . Now if ya really want to get the max out of a Farmall engine then install the high alt. pistons and do a few other trick things and they will come to life big time.
