Hi All , My nine speed input shaft pilot bearing went bad and ate the end out of the input shaft . A couple of questions - Does the nine speed use a pilot bearing outer race requiring a snap ring to hold it in postion ? My shafts snap ring groove is gone or it never had one . Has anyone ever used Loctite stud and bearing mount to stick one in place or anything like it ? If I tried it would it hold ? Or would the best solution be to talk to a machine shop and see if a groove could be cut in the shaft in the remaining material ? Thanks ! ...Randy
