The bracket with the 90 degree bend goes on the side of the tractor. The flat one lays horizontal on top of it and bolts into top of tranny. You'll need the two square head bolts that go in head up into those two channels in the box. You just loosen the nut on the outside bottom, and the box slides out on the tray, the square head bolts keeping it there, and not turning when you loosen the bottom nuts. I'll send you a pair. My lid has the four bumpers, but you can cumshaw a piece of thick rubber somewhere on the base, and lay it in there to keep the battery from bouncing and hitting the lid.
