If your tractor has been changed to 12v,then take that ballast resistor out and throw it away.Blue Streak makes a coil with the resistor built into it,its about $35.And its 2 less connections you have to worry about.The part number is UC-15.Those resistors are ugly,no matter how you try to hide them,they stick out,there are 2 more connections and one more component to give you trouble.
Carquest carries blue streak,NAPA likely does too.
