Don, Sorry to say IH didn't keep that good a records, IHs records are sketchy at best. In the IH Super M stage III tractors AKA...(SM-TA series) the total # didn't break down those Stage III tractors that came "Factory TA Delete" or "With TA. The "Factory Delete" opition tractors carried the round Super M-TA badge MINUS the wing!!! That is the way they came from the factory. Also it could be said that a TA-Delete tractor is just a SM.....possibility, BUT!!!!!! A "Factory Delete" Stage III will still be on the longer Stage III chasis, longer torque tube, longer hood. So a Stage III, TA-delete is still technically a SM-TA. Again to answer your question there are NO real accurate records on #s. Hope this helps. Later, John A.
